summery patterns

Not much a summer to speak of really but I've been doing a few pretty summery patterns to compensate!

These little patterns look great for paper ideas and material.

Paper ranges and ideas

Its been a long time since I last blogged and there are a few things I have been up to.
Firstly the open evening at london jewellery school which was a great success, then my patterns were taken to PGlive in Islington by creativesinc.

 I have also been working on lots of ideas for a new scrap booking papers and card range which I will give you a glimpse of here, at early stages at the moment but I am hoping also to start a new weekly ideas slot where I give some lovely ideas of things you can make with the papers card and  material! very excited about that one!

Open evening and book signing

London jewellery school are holding an open evening on Thursday the 25th May and I will be there to sign copies my book jewellery crafting with kids  It's a brilliant opportunity to see all the great classes held there. Come along! its free and you can drop by fom 6.30 -9pm. There is a chance to make some projects and have ago at making some jewellery! !

Vintage buttons

Lace vintage buttons and fabric. All the elements I'm using in my new jewellery collection.
It's taking a little time but I hope to have something to show soon.
There also some more patterns and some other new projects which I look forward to telling you about too.
I found the buttons in a market in Naples ans the trimming too!

Shelling peas

Fresh peas! such a fantastic thing to have and we spent time taking each little emerald jewel out by hand, something the kids loved. I can remember doing it as a little girl too, but like many I have almost been conditioned into thinking peas come from a frozen pack in the freezer.

They tasted delicious and we ate them lamb.

Spent Easter in Naples enjoying a great time with family. Didn't do too holiday-type activities ( my son got Chickenpox whilst we were there!) here are a few pictures.
